Flapjack V-Day Fanart Entry

The pic above was my entry for Thurop's Flapjack Valentine's Day contest that was held back in February 2009: [link] . It didn't make it into the V-Day fanart video, but I'm okay with that. At the very least it made it into Thurop's faves, and it'll make it into Thurop's office walls of Flapjack fanart. So it's not a total loss. I'm very happy and proud to have made this, and that I at least tried.

This is a crossover pic where my own cartoon characters, the Bakermonium kids [link] , are visiting and touring Stormalong's seas with Flapjack and Bubbie. The Bakermonium kids' regular clothes have been changed to cute lil' sailor clothes in this pic so that they better fit the Flapjack universe. And the sign on Bubbie is a parody of The Love Boat logo. [link] [link] (The Love Boat was an old 70's TV series about life on a cruise ship. Don't ask me anything about the show...I've actually never seen it before. I just thought parodying its logo would be cute and funny, and fit the Valentine's theme very well.) It would've been soooooooo *awesome* if Thurop/Flapjack had sung the Love Boat theme song if this pic had aired on CN.

Uuuugggghhhhh...... .........anyways, I truly cannot believe I actually managed to finish this....in COLOR, even! That's such an insane miracle. You have no idea how much of a freakin' *ETERNITY* I spent on this pic....so much blood, sweat, and tears. This is BY FAR the largest and hardest pic I've ever worked on. Whew..............LOL, I'm fine now....sort of.
